Back in 2010,  Glenn Gabe wrote a great post talking about how helpful the Google AdWords Help Center was. Good news for all of us PPC marketers, Google just launched a redesign of the Help Center. You’ll find that there are three major updates:

Improved navigation
More visual help
Guides to success

#1 – Improved Navigation

You’ll find that it is now a lot easier to find the information that you are looking for. In the navigation, you’ll find the following: setup and basics, manage ads, billing, guides to success, contact us, and community.

#2 – More Visual Help

Google said that the Help Center will be filled with more screenshots and infographics. While I navigated around the site quite a bit, I saw very few screenshots and no infographics. Maybe that’s their end goal. :) I’m excited because I’m more of a visual and an audio learner. Google’s properties in the past have been largely textual. Maybe some of you can relate.

Below is a picture of a screenshot that I did manage to find:

#3 – Guides to Success

This is set up into tips and instructional guides. The tips are broken down into: Tips for success, Essential tips, and Advanced tips. The instructional guides are broken down into: Tips for new advertisers and Tips for selling products or services online.

Conclusion

I’m very excited about the new redesign to the Google AdWords Help Center. Have you checked it out yet? If so, what do you think of it?
